CIP / SIP

The cleaning-in-place and sterilization-in-place is an essential part of the overall system requirements. The cleaning procedures must be achieved with minimal disruption to the production processes and with complete assurance
of its effectiveness.

Our process engineers provide fully automated cleaning procedures with the
optimum cleaning programs adapted for the equipment and the specific products.

To achieve full and optimal network connectivity between the CIP system and the production floor, the skid control unit is based on an industrial PC using a touch screen display, which is linked to the plant's ERP system for final cleaning report.

Modular Principal

  • The stationary CIP system is designed and built using a modular principle, allowing the addition of tanks according to application ? making the construction and use of system extremely flexible and adaptable to customer requirements.
  • All systems are designed and built in accordance with the latest FDA, EMEA, GAMP and cGMP regulations, and are delivered fully qualified and documented.

Typical Systems

Typically CIP skids are designed and fabricated as custom-built equipment.

Single use once through (SUOT) skids:
  • Small foot print
  • Eliminates cross contamination between cleaning circuits.
  • Allows one washing program at a given time
Multiple tank solution recovery (MTSR) skids:
  • Allows parallel washing programs to as many consumers as needed
  • Reduces time, water, chemicals and heating requirements by using storage tanks for rinse solution.
  • Environmental friendly by recycling of cleaning detergents.
  • Environmentally friendly way of recycling cleaning Solutions.
Industrial Neutralization Systems
  • Are available as per local codes for environmental protection
  • Allows spent CIP Solutions to be discharged to drain at ambient temperatures and neutral PH.
The CIP skid includes the following standard characteristics:
  • Solution tanks: 150- 1000 gallon (570- 3750 liter ).
  • Sanitary ?easy clean? pumps
  • Double tube sheet heat exchangers or tank heating jackets
  • Polished piping & equipment, SS316L with minimal ?dead legs?
  • Complete system drainage
  • Double leak prevention CIP valves - optional

Biopharmax supplies a compact CIP skid, designed for easy installation and operation with full integration to the plant computer network.
